On August 8, 2022, Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony to sign a memorandum of cooperation with Vingroup on “Program for Khanh Hoa people to speak English”. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Ha Quoc Tri – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Viet Quang – Vice Chairman and General Director of Vingroup.

At the ceremony, leaders of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee signed a memorandum of understanding with Vingroup on the implementation of the “English-speaking Khanh Hoa People Program” co-sponsored by Vingroup. The long-term goal of the Program is that people can communicate in English, the English-speaking movement becomes real, entering each state management agency, school, business establishment, tourist area, residential commercial area. Goals for the first year (2022 – 2023): Launch a pilot English movement in Ho Chi Minh City. Nha Trang and Cam Lam district, for 5 target groups: Students, district workers who interact with foreign guests, small business people, civil servants, public employees, workers in the state agencies.

According to the signed content, Vingroup is committed to supporting the curriculum (building a foundation program for each type of club, learning materials and tools, exam content, online platforms to support each type of club). study aid); capacity building support (training human resources to manage English clubs, training volunteers); direct human resource support (management, teaching staff, teachers, students, volunteers, experts at home and abroad); media and other financial support.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan hoped that this signing ceremony would be the start of a long-term cooperation between the Provincial People’s Committee and Vingroup, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the province. Khanh Hoa in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Party, the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, especially Resolution No. 09-NQ/TW dated January 28, 2022 of the Ministry of Government leadership on construction and development of Khanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045. Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan also suggested that leaders at all levels and branches should seriously organize the implementation and completion of assigned tasks, ensuring practical and effective. In the immediate future, focus on coordinating with specialized management agencies and departments of Vingroup to build and advise on cooperation plans and detailed coordination programs between the two parties so that the cooperation in organizing the program implemented soon.

Also at the ceremony, VinUni University of Vingroup also signed a memorandum of understanding with Nha Trang University and Khanh Hoa University.
