On the afternoon of June 29, Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Dinh Van Thieu – Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee worked with Vingroup on the proposal to sponsor the English popularization program in the province.

Vingroup proposed to pilot the program in Ho Chi Minh City. Nha Trang and Cam Lam district with the main target groups including: Students, students, workers related to tourism, people in residential groups, government officials. This includes curriculum support (building a foundation program for each type of club, learning materials and toolkits, exam content, online learning support platforms); capacity building (training human resources to manage English clubs, training volunteers); direct human resources (management board, teaching staff, teachers, students, volunteers, experts at home and abroad); communications and other financials.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan welcomed the idea of Vingroup. He asked the corporation to develop a draft program on English universalization in Khanh Hoa; assigned the Department of Education and Training to be the focal point for coordination in implementation. On the basis of the draft, the Provincial People’s Committee will issue a plan to popularize English throughout the province according to a specific roadmap and organize the announcement and dissemination on the media for people to access.
