The project “The people of Khanh Hoa speak English” jointly implemented by the Provincial People’s Committee and Vingroup Corporation to promote Khanh Hoa to develop according to the smart and sustainable urban model, while preserving its identity and integrating into the world. , contributing to turning the province into a city directly under the Central Government by 2030.

The project will be conducted for 5 years and piloted in Nha Trang City and Cam Lam District for 5 groups: students; pupil; officers and employees; small traders, workers; and businesses. Accordingly, every citizen has the right and is encouraged to participate in English learning through the form of a club established in each ward/commune or through the Mobile App online learning application built specifically for the program. .

The Kick-off ceremony will kick off a series of unique and attractive events that will take place continuously for the next 5 years. Right at the ceremony, 150 English clubs including: 100 student clubs; 10 student clubs; 10 public clubs/officers; 20 business clubs; 10 community clubs will simultaneously launch, bringing an atmosphere of excitement and learning spirit to everyone.

Along with the impressive debut, there were attractive art performances performed 100% in English from local students and interesting experiences through exciting games. The highlight of the program is the Gameshow “HI! ENGLISH”, with a creative way of playing when thousands of spectators using mobile phones participated in the challenge of answering 15 questions from the Organizing Committee on the Kahoot.it website. Five excellent spectators with the highest scores and fastest response times will be invited to participate in the next round to receive valuable gifts.

In particular, 9x teacher Nguyen Thai Duong – a face that is loved by young people with many attractive lectures and million-view clips also participated in the Kick-off ceremony. Mr. Duong will bring many inspirational stories about learning English with exciting English singing and rap performances as an interesting message to the people of Khanh Hoa province about their determination to learn and speak English. .

Kick-off event has/will confirm a new milestone for the movement of learning and speaking English, as well as kick-starting the spirit of optimism, positivity, the will to break through and rise up of the people of Khanh Hoa. In the next 5 years, the project will be strongly deployed to each citizen so that English can really come into daily life, anticipate the recovery of the world investment – tourism market, and bring Khanh Hoa into the world. an international city of the future.
